The farm is owned and operated by Christiane and
Fred Bergheim the former owners of Cornish Manor
Restaurant in nearby Oakland.
After operating a cafe/bakery and later the restaurant
for the past 12 years, they decided to transform
the barn on their farm into the present facility.
The barn is shown by appointment only (301) 746-4266.
Christiane was the former chef at their restaurant
and she will do all the cooking and catering. Christiane
creates and bakes custom
wedding cakes (for
on or off premise weddings) and very special desserts.
Curently the couple is creating a commercial kitchen
in the barn which will be ready for the 2005 season.
The dog's name is Buster!
